Singh is Bling Review: Singh Is Bliing is an action comedy film directed by Prabhudeva. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson and Lara Dutta in the lead roles. It is being produced by Grazing Goat Pictures. Singh Is Bling will hit the screens this Friday. Expectations: Akshay Kumar and Prabhudeva, the blockbuster duo of Rowdy Rathore, is returning this time with Singh Is Bling. The promos and music has worked well. We are expecting a full fledged comedy entertainer with some action sequences. Lets check out Singh Is Bling review to find out if it lives up to the expectations. Singh Is Bling Review — Akshay Kumar Okay so the film tells the story of Raftaar Singh Akshay Kumar. Anyway Raftaar Singh is living happily in his village. But he is the biggest irritant of his father Yograj Singh. As it is common in Punjabi films not in real , he is irresponsible and always looking for fun with his friends. One day his father feds up and asks him to go to Goa and do some work for his friend there. Upon reaching in Goa, he impresses his new boss with his enthusiasm and out of the box thinking. Soon he meets his lady love Sara Amy Jackson there. But the problem is that she cannot speak Hindi while Raftaar cannot understand English. Then he is joined by the loveable Emily Lara Dutta as a translator who almost ruins their budding love. What starts as a harmless romance takes a deadly turn when he realizes that Sara is not who he thinks she is and is here with an agenda which takes him to Romania. There Mark Kay Kay Menon makes an entry as the villain. Watch the film to find out. The story looks unoriginal as it is highly inspired from Singh Is King. Thankfully, the saving grace is screenplay and dialogues. The lines are funny and will keep a grin on your face throughout the film. But in the second half the director lost the clue how to wind up the film. Singh Is Bling Review: Direction, Editing, Screenplay After doing many action films, director Prabhudeva tries his hand at the comedy, and he holds it up well till the second half. Though there are also some action sequences. The screenplay is decent. The pace is good overall but the film loses the grip in the 2nd half. Action seems to be forcibly added. Music is the highlight of the film. All the songs have been picturised beautifully. Actually this was not a good decision to cut the budget on the cost of production values. If the film was made on a grander scale, it had the potential to shatter many box office records looking at the current buzz. This film is all about Akshay Kumar. He rules the character from the first frame itself. His comic timing is excellent. She also does action sequences well. Though she still needs to improve her dialogue dilevery. We woner why he accepetd that rule. She has still a lot of potential left in her. It will open to packed houses in North India but it will be interesting to see how the film performs outside North.
